@fargeeks I know "why" they were banned, and I know they were "unfair" due to their light weight, reliability, and efficiency. Why couldn't other teams use the engines in their vehicles instead?

Ahem. "Duhh" 1. It is true that only Mazda makes them in production cars currently, but that also means they only have their R&D to work with, not the results of many years spread amongst many companies. 2. Why is the supposedly superior engine being removed from the series then, when it is a better choice for racing, and this should be no more than a push for the other companies to either improve or convert. At the very least, restrictions could have been imposed to even the playing field.

@holmd90 duh cuz 1. only mazda makes them and 2. it gave unfair lightweight advantages because they use 1/2 of moving parts than a lets say a 4 cylinder engine uses
