Hi,
Does anyone know when you go to franborough are there aircraft you can get up and close to and visit inside etc? Or do you just watch aircraft fly by all day?
Thanks

The Vulcan never flew on the day at Leuchars, how dissapointing. Anybody who was at the show will feel the same way. Never again...
I think RIAT is one of the best, there's less commerce and buisness than Farnborough, I get more of a kick out of military aircraft as well.
Although I will try to be there for 2010, Farnborough and RIAT are my favourite airshows.

Yeah they are very deceptive due to the size.

i love red arrows :D and i still cant believe how slow that A380 Went! i thought it would drop outa the sky (when i was there) we stood right at the front direct view of the arrows when they tried to ram each other but missed evry time :P

Love the way they have all those fucking VIP tents (free to the occupants) obscuring the view of paying spectators. Sounds like a 80 mph wind blowing. Ahh - Farnborough.

The red arrows seem to be a corporate only enterprise now because they`re not at half the UK airshows they were last year. The greatest aerobatics team in the world is nothing more than a political showboat. A sure sign of corporation Britain. Shame on the RAF. Airshows are all going downhill in the UK now, although the old ones are still pretty good.

Yeah, i preferred 2006. I would've liked to see the B1-B a bit more this year.
