Nick:Joe I-I im sorry I lied to you but you have to understand I did it to protect you.I know what Lucas is capable of and I know if he says he's gonna kill someone he will.Look at me I almost died.And the meth yea im a fucking addict so what!

Demi's POV
I sat in my room waiting for Nick and my mom they were supposed to be here at 10 it was now 12.I knew my mom wouldn't come but Nick I really thought he would show up.I guess he was changed.I gave up waiting on him and my mom.I should of known he would give up on me again.I layed on my bed and slowly fell asleep.I woke up to someone knocking on my door.I quickly got up and ran to my door opening it hoping it would be Nick but it wasn't it was Raquel.
Raquel:Hey
Demi:Hi
Raquel:Listen Nick's still doing meth and he stills owes Lucas and he found him and beat the shit out of him he's in the hospital
Demi:Oh I thought he forgot about me
Raquel:No your his life his bestfriend no amount of drugs can make him forget about you
Demi:So do I get to get out
Raquel:Yea your mom came and signed the papers im here to get ya
Demi:He meant it
Raquel:Yea come on ill take you to him

With Joe(his POV)
I was at our house mine and Nick's.But this time I was packing not staying.I couldn't beleive he lied to me.I was going to stay with my friend Kevin.Far away from here and Nick.As I packed the last of my things I noticed a picture of us.We were 13 and looked happy two bestfriends.Who looked innocent but now I knew the truth the whole time I knew him kept the biggest secret of all.I grabbed my bag and headed for the door when something stopped me...
