  • Capitalism isn't the perfect system, it's just simply the best system.

  • I need this book, I keep telling my friends that capitalism has done far more good than any other economic system. They only focus on the cronyism, and the failures that are caused by outside forces yet blame it on capitalism.

  • @Cleopas82 Check out "In defense of global Capitalism" by Norberg also

  • Awww! What horrible ungrateful scum we are, eh Baggertarians?

  • How can you say people lived with under 1$ a day historically......Translate that into gold....not dollars....this makes it so inaccurate!!!!!

  • Only capitalism itself can produce a better system.

  • I see capitolism as a hood thing. But then they can take from the people if they become too large. Nobody can create a marketplace here. We have 2 walmarts! Who can compete with that? It's a win loose situation. Although I think if theres less corporations there could be more competition in the market.

  • The nation state has literally murdered hundreds of millions of people. Either directly via war and concentration camps and political purges, or indirectly via misguided policies forced upon its citizens. And yet people want to regulate and control IKEA and Apple, while giving the State more and more power. Stupidity or evil?

  • @Cleopas82 It is a near impossible distinction between cronyism and free market capitalism for most of my friends. That and they refuse to see government as inefficient

  • @ReluctantZer0 Demonstrably false.

  • So many people just don't understand that individuals can voluntarily trade with each other and all of them can still be better off. THE PIE EXPANDS.

  • @13lackLight Ha, yeah I agree with you; I'm still essentially a capitalist at this point mostly for its ability to innovate
