when i finish a story mode, most of my characters are around lv 12

how do i increase their levels more?

you can increase them by like 50+ lvls in one battle with a cheat. just look at the fast lvl up videos on youtube

I started with Cloud as my main, but he's too slow so I tried playing as Tidus and he just felt right to play as... I'm sorry if you don't like him.
