Swansea-based Hot Club group Gypsy Jazz perform this classic track live in the BBC Hall at Swansea Metropolitan University. Both Surround and Binaural stereo recordings were taken at the session, engineered by students on the BSc Music Technology course (although this video was simply recorded onto Nokia N70 camera phone).

  • Jesus Tapdancin Christ

  • @garyTHEGYPSY Agree with everything you say.

They're not bad at all but they sound kinda country/bluegrass, and you definitley have to use the gypsy picking or as the manouche call it "en butè" to get the gypsy tone.

You can tell he knows very well his arpeggios though.

  • nice version

  • nice!

  • this is phenomenal!

  • DJANGO MAKE ME FLY... SO HIGH..

  • nice but the only thing bad i have to point out is the fact that hes not playing in the style of manouche, his hands are all wrong but there is a nice tone to it. I also want to point out that its no where near the best version of djangology on youtube for anyone that thinks so, check out bireli lagrenes version.
