They don't need it. I have a 9 month old black lab and he tore through both of the dog beds that I bought for him. He has a cage with bedding, and my bed at his disposal but he prefers the floor. Dog's don't give a shit.

@Lonestarry Yeah, they're pretty much built to be able to lie down anywhere. No sharp bones sticking out.

@Lonestarry For goodness sake, dogs sleep wherever they drop!! My dogs have a massive cushion bed and they still choose to sleep on the stone floor in the kitchen!! Sometimes there just too hot and wanna sleep on a nice cold floor.

@ancientmartialart Its the fact that its purebred that it has a white spot ^^ my parents and I looked it up wehn we were looking up stuff about labs...the white chest is from the St. John's water dog..an ancester to the black lab, also if they have white feet, from the St. John's water dog

The white patch on this puppy's chest is a normal occurrence for black/chocolate colored labs, I wouldn't go by that mark to determine whether this puppy is pure bred or not. :)

Doesn't he have a nice soft cushion or some bedding to sleep on? Poor thing - that old hard tile floor. Yuck.

Yes he has, but in Greece its very hot in summer and he likes the tile floor, during the day... :-))
