@scott5690 I so agree with you Scotty, I refuse to put a Chevy motor in my goat, I don't care if I can pay a fraction of the price to get more out of a Chevy motor. It's not a Pontiac with out Pontiac components.

A lot of people blew up their 400 motors, mostly people who had a manual transmission though.
-
@DenbrooksGoat Yeah, you're probably right. Did you at least keep the Pontiac motor?
-
@DenbrooksGoat What did he put in it...your pontiac 400 motor?

No I didn't back in 1970 when I blew the Pontiac up it was just junk. SoI just through it away. Since I bought GO GOAT new I would never sell it any way so I don't care about the originalty of it!

Why did you put a Chevy motor in a Pontiac?

I am running Headman headers 2 1/2" pipes from the front all the way with an "H" pipe and 40s Flowmaster mufflers.

You can get 650hp out of a Pontiac, why bastardize the GTO with it's cousin's motor? Nice car, sounds great, but just not right. My 67 GTO is not stock, but's it's all Pontiac where it matters.

@scott5690 Well if you are so confident in your Pontiac what does yours run in the 1/4 because it dont think it is close to 11.00's
