@HeavyMetallicas The only reason your religon survives is because of the indoctrination of children before they can think for themselves. Before you go and say "You dont know anything about my religon" actually, yes i do. I was raised a catholic until i left my house when i was 18. Only when i started to really ponder the teachings of the church did i stray away from it.The logical fallicies of the church are very apparent, and anyone who still believes in that nonsense needs to get re-educated.

@Easleytee Completely wrong, to declare "god is dead" is to give emphasis to the fact that god was a social construction (religion) useful to old societies to be controlled and monitored, in our times there is no need for this, therefore we have decided to kill god. Its a metaphor for deists, of course Nietzsche wasnt even considering it fot theists. Its sort of directed to the line of thought Voltaire started with his famous: If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him

To declare God dead is to imply he/she once existed. Alas, such a construct is an illogical fallacy. An irreverent slight-of-metaphysical-hand...
as it were. It's not that God does not exist that drives my heresy. On the contrary. My heresy resides in knowing that God could never exist!

i think the MOST POWERFULL ALBUM of Dimmur Brogir is ★ ★ For all Tid ★ ★ :)

Dimmu Borgir Youtube videos, the right place to fight about religions!

@camguy3 I agree there are definitely fallacies with the church, no doubt about that.
However;
Anything a person believes is the truth to his or herself, and I do not believe a single man/woman should say that it is false or that they "believe in nonsense" or "need to be re-educated"
It does not matter how anyone else perceives their beliefs. Now I do disagree with most organized religions and the way they teach (mainly Christianity and Catholicism)
Now on a more on-topic note: Dimmu is cool
