After some comments regarding the snare drum I guess I won't redo. The snare head delaminated while playing and I thought it sounded bad.........anyway.... it was changed immediately and i have some more from that night!

Amazing. I never could figure out that opening pattern always sounded like Steve Smith had a third arm! :) Good job.

This is my favorite song by Steve Perry & the guys!! love the way Steve Smith played in this song.. those drums are what caught my attention & of course, Steve Perry's voice. TY for sharing this.. Love it.. In my opinion, you don't have to redo this.. like it as is..

So I watched you through one time and something in my intermediate drummer's mind kept asking the question. I thought I'd watch that cool opening again. Seems like you're left handed but you play open style? If so or if not, was an interesting watch for someone who is very right handed but working on interdependence. If you've trained yourself to do this then I gotta long way to go. Keep Rockin

@loveitoldschool I am left handed but can play either R orL on snare depending on sticking.

Wow!! I thought I was tight until I started watching your videos. Just curious Frogg, what do you do for a living? The reason I ask, is because I think you may have missed your calling. With the tightness with which you play, you could go on the road with anyone of these bands you play covers of. I think we're close to the same age. I grew up with all this music you're playing and it brings back great memories of a much much simpler time. I'm really enjoying listening to your playing. God bless

@Whitese7en I Run a Construction Company,,,,,,,,,I do play gigs from time to time. The music business is BRUTAL.....................I would love to play more but have a hard time finding good guys to jam with.
