Excellent! Basic drills but with striking clarity -we need them.

Great video! Very informative to those transitioning from heel to mid/fore foot strike. Thanks for sharing this one.

Hi arland, since i´ve run as a part of my trainning program for other sports i did in a non efficient way as i´ve seen ( heel striker), so i´m trying to fix that by following your instructions just 2 weeks ago, i´ve noticed the change inmediatly i have 2 questions, 1.- i used to have some pain in my knees the (medial collateral ligament) as google says jiji before not now, was it because of heel striking? 2.- Now i have calf and achilles tendon pain (little), is because of the transition? .

I like the way you describe the force with your finger, comparing it to what happens with the calf and leg springing you forward. Transitioning to this type of running takes time, but it is so worth it for pain free running. Thanks for the video. I will direct people to it.

because you should have a slight forward lean to let gravity help you with moving forward

Why do other barefoot running video's advocate an upright position and Newton says we should have a slight forward lean?
