Hi, I just wanted 2 thank U 4 yr openness & the appearance on Oprah. I taped it & now use it when I teach origins/history/culture of Islam 2 9th graders.  I admire U & ur openess. My kids have CRAZY notions of Islam. U have definitely made a difference & are an inspiration.

The students always haveTONS of questions about Islam. Would you be willing 2 make a youtube video about dating in Islam & what you teach ur children about it? Or we'd LOVE 2 skype U n2 our classroom sometime this fall.

I think she considers herself to be spiritual. I think she is very comfortable in her own inner spiritaul beleifs. This particular woman who was ont he oprha show is the within the same reliouse guidlines, degeree, level that say, Farrhkanis is. He follows islam and allah, quite frankly he sort of runs his life by his own rules too. Like most relgion and people in general the basic principles of islams, catholic, jews, have degrees and one extreme to the other. like politics too.
