Zimbabwe war veterans demand compensation

Veterans in Zimbabwe are demanding compensation from the government for taking part in the independence war in the 1960s and 70s.
But economists say a huge pay out woud likely crash the country's already struggling economy.

They fought a war and had been promised compensation. They risked their lives and somehow they want a hand out. They got shafted by the people the fought for for years and just because they found a way to get them by the nuts you are calling them lazy? Granted they are some people making false claims but I think they went into this expecting something so it's not a stretch that they actually try to get that something.

The whites would have a le to stand on if they hadn't treated the people like animals but they did. Their children had the same atitude towards black people claimed they could just move to South Africa if things got bad. Now they are all crying foul and claiming patriotism because their bread is gone. This is one huge clusterf*** where you cannot find one person with noble intentions.

This is exactly why I fear these The Venus Project type movements. They all expect to be the top beneficiaries of the system they want to see in place despite their claims. in the end they would find themselves in a situation of where they would do anything to stay in power.
