You know those credits which disrupt your television viewing pleasure at the end of every programme? Squashing the show you were watching into one half of the screen, whilst a voice speaks over the music, what on earth are they thinking?

I'm so glad someone else feels this way about TV credits. Often I want to find out an actor or actress' name from a TV show or a film that's being shown on TV, and I can't because it all goes past too quickly and is shrunk into one corner of the screen, as David said. Also, sometimes there will be a piece of music on during the credits, or those little extra bits (bloopers etc), and I can't listen to them because of the people talking over it. But it's nice to know that someone agrees with me.

The worst example of this was a few years ago when I'd finished watching a faux-documentary about World War 2, and the sombre and understated credits that seemed intended to leave the viewer thinking about what they'd seen were being splerged over by some retarded reality TV bullshit.
