  • i'm really shocked he did this covor, i heard him put down alternative music a few years ago in an interview

  • "...that didn't just piss me off trying to cover Layne Staley." is how that last sentence should read.

  • man. I remember hearing Slipknot years ago and thinking "wtf is this bullshit? and who the shit would ever sing (cookie-monster vocals, as my friend likes to put it) like this?". but man, after checking Corey out in other musical contexts such as this, I'm convinced that he's one of the most talented and versatile vocalists in a generation. he sounds SO fucking good on this; and covering Kurt is treading on precarious turf. he's also the only guy I've heard that didn't just piss me off whil

  • @MatthewLawyer95 what has that to do with this cover? Corey showed some respect to Kurt by doing this cover... And musicians don't have to show respect to anyone to be good.

  • I think Kurt would be pleased with this cover. It repairs a little bit the damage that stupid kid made to smells like teen spirit.

  • @kcnirva

If anything you mean "No they aren't"

Hey, you are right though... when in fact they are more of the "Clint Eastwood" of the music world.

  • true musicians show respect to other great artists that came before !

  • I am super critical of anyone covering Nirvana. This pleases me. Kurt is smiling sir.

  • good shit corey maggot for life>>!!!

  • Easily one of the most talented musicians out there. He amazes me every time i hear him sing
