  • Stephen Elop fired over 1000 Finnish workers from salo factory in and moved the production to Asia.

Elop promissed that Finland would stay as the hearth of Nokia. It have been it for over 145 years, and now that 145 years of factory work in Finland is gone.

He lied to us, it's only a matter of time until the whole plant production is moved away from Finland and all the Finnish workers have been replaced by someone from Microsoft.

So I guess we can say RIP Nokia.

  • To summatise: nokia and microsoft joining forces. Hoping to improve UI and applications. That is all.

  • @JesusChristisMuslim It's not Windows Mobile. It's Windows Phone 7. COMPLETELY different operating systems. Windows Phone 7 has already more than 30,000 apps in the marketplace since it's launch not even a year ago. It's the fastest growing app marketplace with most of the popular ones in there. It's a GREAT OS. Do you research buddy.
