all i hear is talk, but what i see is that canada subservient to america and just follows it around like a puppy dog
dont get me wrong, i believe canada has potential (i am canadian myself), but its these weak greedy leaders who want to keep us as the queens vacation home. Our economy could be massive if were more agressive in expanding into more markets, but the fact is that we are permanently bound in a failing alliance with america and britain.
we should be act more independently

Canada is a very powerful Country. We just choose to take a different approach to power. Our Military is small but potent. It is our Economy that is powerful. Canada is the number one destination right now for investment and job growth. Americans are fleeing to here by the droves for jobs. We have everything any Country would want and then some. The ignorance some people harbor about Canada is ridiculous. Some of you idiots still believe we all live in Igloos and say 'eh' all the time.

That is an ignorant statement and incorrect. Our Economy is now the most powerful and stable of all G7 nations. If we wanted Military power - would build it. The Avro Arrow was 20 years beyond anything that anyone had. The Americans begged us for the Airframe and as a result - you have your F series fighters. We have money, resources, the second largest landmass and an extremely small yet manageable population. That is power.

@SirHungryHippo Actually Canada has the highest mining of uranium percentage (world total), Australia is second. Instead of being in bombs most of it is used for medical radiology, some is sold to the states for their Phat Boys.
