If Leeds Rhinos go there we will hammer the home time like 100-0. If there is the same number of people 5,000 plus the available Leeds Rhinos fans there will be like 6,000-6,500 with 1,000-1,500 Leeds Rhinos fans.

Hell yeah, they are one of the original big 4countries, they started the RL world cup in 54 and were world champions the 50s regularly beating Aus NZ and GB, in fact 1979 was the last time Australia lost a series before 2005, and it was to the French!
They went down in th 90's due to internal politics but are making a resurgence with the Catalan dragons in the super league and also a secong team in Toulouse is bidding to get in next year.

The thing about french Rugby league is that its power base is in small towns of like 10,000 people. So their home crowds tend to be 2-3,000 but that is like 30% of the towns population! A few larger towns like Toulouse Perpignan and Carcassonne also have teams and so they get bigger crowds. Catalans Dragons based in Perpignan near the spanish border in the super league average about 9-10,000 which is decent. Toulouses bid for next year will be interesting.

Keep an eye out on June 27th this year for the France vs. England test match in Toulouse. Should be broadcast on Fox at some stage. This will be a test on two fronts:
1. A WC warm up for both teams since they havent played since the NY tour last year
2. Be interesting to see the support for big RL in Toulouse and their bid for Super league next year.
Toulouse is a massive RU town, their Heniken Cup team (its the european equivalent of super 14) regularly get like 20,000.
