Actually this is not the best possible Mancala move. Two days ago I did my own experimenting and found a way to get enough stones to win on the first turn.

@ChristinaVNystrom I learnt my rules from having a game on my old phone. I think there are a few different ways of playing it though.

@ChannelFadge A lot of people play this game the wrong way for some odd reason. Your way is the correct way of playing mancala.

This isn't even the correct way to play mancala. The way it is MEANT to be played is that you don't pick up the stones in the place that you land in. Once you land in that spot you are done. Too many play this the wrong way.

I figured out a way to get 24 playing that way in college and then I made a Multi-Mancala program and it could get 30 on the first move. I'll probably post a video of it sometime so I believe that 30 is the best you can get on the first move.
