1. Become familiar with your grill. Ensure there's a proper connection between the grill and the propane tank.
2. Locate the igniter button on your grill. Open the grill cover before lighting the igniter button.
3. Press the igniter button to start the flame. It may not work on the first time so listen for the clicking and the whoosh of the gas. This will allow the gas to flow through the other areas of the grill.
4. Turn the other knobs to set the temperature you desire and they should catch the flame of your igniter knob.
