If you listen closely to the way dave plays it in the intro when he slides up to the 7th fret he continues strumming thru it, there is no pause. You get there and end with one downstroke and there is a slight pause. He is playing at least down up down up there you've only got the down. Minor detail but you did comment on someone elses version how this was exactly how dave plays it. So I thought I should point it out. Sometimes you hear it in your mind but don't realize your not playing it.

hey, how are you doing the rhythm strumming? I'm super confused because I can get all the intro parts..but whenever I change chords, the sound just disappears...any help would be nice.

ok ive thought ive been playing it correctly for a while but it slightly different than yours. ive watched one part in the is video like a thousand times but what you doing that makes the rhythm sound correct right after you slide from the 4th fret to the 5 th fret on the g string before sliding into the B on the 7th fret?
