@3056bigman Umm SSBB can be used with every controller type and this technique is easiest with the gamecube controller
-
One trick to add is that if your lucky, ness/Lucas can reflect projectile attacks using the bat/stick. Your timing has to be good though.

@AlexanderEpoc The only reason Lucas is low tier is because of the delay he got in many of his moves and the time it takes him to "recover" after a grab that makes him infinite-chain-grab-able against certain characters (marth for example), something people just like to abuse of. I've been in tournaments with no chain grab rule, and none of the top tiers made it to the finals.

@supahsmashbro I actually can do all of this with wii mote

@Pikafan2132 lucas was gonna be in melee, but since mother 64 was canceled, he wasnt, and no problem
-
@goldentailsXD Thanks, cause my brawl broke and Lucas isn't on melee.

Remind me why Lucas is low tier again?
I just can't get the zap jumping to work.

I'm actually going to have a visual tutorial for zap jumping along with what it looks like on the controller so look for that soon.

Good stuff. I'm thinking about switching main to Lucas.
On a side-note, do you know where I could find some FCs? All the sites I've been to haven't been active since March 2008, and I'm getting really bored of computers.

It depends what you're looking for. Of course, if you really want to meet the competitive Brawl side, go to All is Brawl. For lesser competitive, GameBattles has a pretty good (although less active) ladder.
For more of a casual community, there is Brawlfriendcodes, which is very active. Trust me, there are some really good brawlers too.

can I do this stuff with a wii mote and nunchuck?
StrengthZp 3 years ago
From what I've tested out, yeah. But the problem is that of course, the nunchuk + wiimote combo doesn't have a C-stick so it makes everything difficult. Basically forward jump and then while PK firing, jam your control stick back and forth. Something like that. I don't know exactly how it works, but that's basically the idea of it. You can manually do it like that on a GC controller too, but C-sticking makes everything much easier and precise.
