  • @LaurenRoseUK Haha, no I didn't think you were being condescending.

I basically can't stand all advertising because of that fact. Cornflakes won't revolutionise the way communities eat breakfast etc etc. My personal favourites are perfume adverts - they are ridiculous D:

  • @TheLostDirector That is true. All advertising is about aspirations though…'buy this product, you will feel like this'…it has very little to do with the product itself. (sorry if you are already aware of this, and that it might seem condescending, it isn't intended to x)

  • @LaurenRoseUK There IS nothing wrong with people wanting to "look good", I just feel that there are particular things that the advertising industry tells us is exclusively good, but that's a different discussion all together. Adverts like this probably don't make a lot of people feel good :/ But anyway, I really agree with the fact that it's a choice. It becomes a bigger issue for me when advertising sort of uses women in a way that reduces them simply to "things to aspire to". It's confusing :/

  • There is absolutely nothing wrong with a woman wanting to look good. I don't believe it is the objectification of women, it's a choice. Some do it, some don't. It's exactly the same for men. Maybe we should just relax, and do what feels good to us hey? I like this advert, but this is just my opinion xxx

  • If there's one thing this advert isn't doing, it's encouraging the objectification of women.

    Oh, wait.

  • Whats the song title used?

  • This has the potential to be turned into a porn film...
