What IS it with rats trying to get into your mouth? We call Olive the Dentist Rat because she has this evil technique of using her sharp claw to get your lip which causes you to exclaim out loud, IOW, open your mouth and then she quickly shoves in her head to "inspect".

I have rats and cats both but they aren't anywhere near this affectionate with each other. Love these videos!

That is exactly how one of my rats treats my kitties--she examines them over and over again, like "What are you?" then she comes back and does it again in 30 seconds. My kitties, like yours, are very patient...

No, she is not declawed. :) Be careful with your kitties, though. Molly (the cat in the video) doesn't mind rats, but our other two cats would eat my rat-babies in a heartbeat. Good luck!

I'm wondering if your other 2 cats grew up since kittens with your rats? Did Molly grow up from since she was a kitten with your rats?

Well... all my cats were strays, so I don't really know their histories. The vet estimated Molly at about 5 months old when I found her and the other two were maybe six months. Molly just happens to have a lovely personality and the other two... don't... haha... Maybe introducing them young will help, maybe not. Sorry I can't be more help. :(
