@cohensghost Not just Mosul...mind you 3-2 SBCT was the QRF for the whole Country of Iraq. Everything 1st BDE 25th ID did...3rd Brigade did as well...only we did it First. Well except getting recocked in NTC like those tropic lightning fuckos did.

@sgtweaver73 Because the work Two Three did was kept away from cameras and press - unlike the shit loads of videos found about the Two Four; which came about solely because of the Two Three's success in Mosul, its relatively impossible to find videos of the Two Three. The ones used in the trailer were supplied directly from the DoD. Seems petty to begrudge the guys who set the president on how Strykers would be used in Iraq, doesn't it?

There is only one photo of Deuce Four, that was taken a later in 2004 and it appears when Ernesto mentions the MP who was killed by the car bomb, and whom was not associated with either the 1-23 or 24, and was not used during any description of the actions by taken by the 1-23.

HI, Doc, "good narration" i feel, i should read an authentic book, to get the feel of how it was. "i am still a tin star pushing paper" public safety system designer, but i am still frustrated at the level of Heroin, returned into Canada. Too bad half of the videos are not of the unit in the book.....they are ripped off Deuce Four pics and videos...a real Stryker Battalion...unlike the garbage from 3rd BDE, 2nd ID.
