thats loading the axles, its funny because that creates an amazing launch and is actually better for the axles because it causes less stress on them than just flooring it off the line without preloading them

2G auto can take some good abuse. I think at a certain hp level say above 500whp, The lockup converter can cause an issue. I believe the 2g AWD auto trans has gone well into the 8's.

Anyone know if a transbrake setup will work with a 1g awd auto transmission? I haven't played with a dsm auto tranny before, and am starting to think it's worth while

Not really neccessary. Just need good brakes. Haven't seen anyone with it on a DSM to answer your question.
