AMV • Grandma

This is a very personal video for me. My grandmother died on the 25th of September of colorectal cancer. It's been a very hard time for me, seeing that this is the first person close to me who's ever died. Even today, it still hasn't sunk in that she's gone. I saw her four days before she died, and she looked so weak. It's just hard to imagine that she's not going to be there anymore.

I had been working on multiple other AMVs, but I completely lost my focus and motivation when she died. That's why it's been so long since any updates, and for that, I'm sorry. But I knew I had to make something special, just for her. That's why this AMV is short, sweet and simple. I had a tough time finding a song. There were a few other songs that I might use for future AMVs, but I ended up choosing Moby because it ended on a not-so-depressing note.

This AMV is really about Usagi suddenly seeing and realizing that Chibiusa is dying, and she only has a few minutes left with her. That's what it felt like to me, and I hope I was able to show that.

I'm so sorry to hear about that. I lost a good friend over the summer to cancer, and I saw her just hours before she died. It's a scary feeling. I really understand how you feel.

I'm sorry about ur grandma , but don't think of it as a bad thing, i mean, at least she is not in any more pain. I'm sure u didn't want that for her, but i know u didn't want to lose her either T.T

but hey :'D at least u got to see her one last time right. i'm sure that one last time meant the world to her.
