I do not think it is photoshopped nor steroids. However, there is no way s/he looked like that after just 12 weeks of exercise. Nope. Those photos are probably after months-years of training. And on that photo day I bet they were both dehydrated for the shrink wrap effect. We should all just try to be healthy and "in-shape," nothing extreme. These people show unrealistic goals that most peoples' physiology won't allow them to get to. Don't stress! (source: med school)

@omgzorz1235 OK, well surely you hadn't been lifting for very long at that stage? After just a couple of years of training, the speed of growth reduces big time. Lets say you gain as much as you did in your first year of training, well by the time you're into your third year, you'd do well to gain 6-7 pounds a year. Ask any natural bodybuilder or doctor in exercise science and they'll tell you the same..

@siiben lol when i did mass i gained 3kg / month, in the end i gained like 15kg of muscle and 4kg of fat or sth....

@omgzorz1235 In this world. Sure if you're a beginner (which this guy isn't, as I said) you can gain relatively much muscle mass quite quickly. But even as a beginner, you'd struggle to gain 13 lbs in 12 weeks. That's abut 6 kg in under three months. Even with perfect nutrition+training it's simply not natural for a human being. We're talking pure muscle mass here, not just any weight. With perfect training and nutrition, 3-6 kg a YEAR is extremely good for anyone.

@siiben in which world it is impossible? if you have a good trainer and he tells you everything you should do and you have a cook who cooks you food you should eat it is easy to gain 2x more then.

The guy says he gained 13 pounds of muscle in 12 weeks. Impossible. But is he on steroids? Not necessarily. In the photos where he's overweight you can clearly see he already has good muscles underneath all the fat. So he's already got most of the muscle, and just needs to get rid of the fat. I bet they paid him to get fat in the first place, cause if you've been fit it's much easier to get fit again.
