I went to the "Be Counted" event in Washington, DC. I wasn't allowed in the party [organized by votolatino.org] but I spoke to some of the attendees. Follow me in Twitter @CarlosQC.

  • What is your problem Carlos, why you hate on Latinos like that . I have the answer, you hate being Mexican and Latino, cause you think society has put a label of cheap labor and underachiever on you. You hate yourself and you try to put this feeling on the whole community. I am a proud Latino and Canadian. Show some pride and stop trying to divide, cause latinos unidos jamas seran vencidos!

  • @rs210 I am not Mexican, nor European. I am from the Americas, my ancestors were Native peoples. I praise that you know your roots and celebrate them as well.

  • But at the end of the day Carlos' goal is for african descendant "latinos" to be lumped with "african americans" ( because it looks like it bothers him to have dark skin ppl talk spanish)

His other goal is for american indians to have their own nice cute little category on the census. It's like he wants to lead his 2 followers into the new age and begin his own colony of american indians.

  • @Ecuanaso This is not about me Ecuanaso, thanks for being my third follower.

  • So-called Latinos brethern should not register themselves as latino or hispanic. This will take away your sovereign rights.

Anyway those are names given to you by European slave masters.

  • all these brown indigenous people who call themselves hispanics are sellouts. i hope the hispanic label doesnt make it to the census. if it does it will only add confusion and ignorance to our people. and no i dont mean latinos or hispanics i mean indigenous brown people.

  • Salvadorans are at LEAST 80% native American by DNA... these people are retarded LOL!

  • Latino shouldn't be used, its not a real thing, its something that somebody made. I'm a full blooded Puerto Rican thats BLACK, I don't consider myself Latino, but I'm proud to be Puerto Rican.

  • well my parents was born Brazil & i was born U.S.A" i don't speak spanish & Brazilian people don't speak spanish neither. we speak Portuguese.

  • where I live the french took over our land in canada. Gave us french names and made us speak french and they also interbred with us creating (Métis) french descent/ Native american. But our people still haven't forgotten who we are. We still consider ourselves Native americans. even if we speak another language and have french names. South american cousins don't forget your roots.

Que vivan por largos años los Nativo Americanos!
