@dadombom there is an auto save function, you should start off at the nearest spawn point. We have someone on the works of an LP soon, sorry for this inconvenience. :(

@dadombom thanks dadombom :) Correct, the opening screen appears, all you need to do is run to the right and then you'll wake up at your last spawn point :)

@halosinful 2) Well you might notice that he has four armor pieces but the second two are jokes. Only the first two are in the final game, but all the other equipment shown is in game (note there are only three shields)

3) Patrick Majewski doesn't want to reuse a game engine and this one took a long time to compile. As of right now Anema 2 is not a planned title but you may like the upcoming titles Stranded and Monster Basement 3.
