During a recent windstorm I recorded this video of my invention in 40 to 70 MPH winds. Note that the turbine is not anchored in any way. The drive-shaft dropping down from the rotor-wing has a black patch painted on it to give a better indication of RPM. Using the metronome counter in cakewalk I clocked the turbine spinning at it's fastest 348 RPM....5+ rotations per second.

  • just a note, the sheet metal and magnet wire are about the only things purchased new, everything else was scavenged from discarded junk.
