bobby heenan and gorilla monsoon were the greatest announcing team of all time.

funny thing is that one of heenan's best friends in the wrestling business is hulk hogan.

Bobby Heenan could have been a stand up comedian...he was the best on the mic!!!

Is it just me or do other fans miss those good ol days of Bobby 'the Weasel' and the 'MACHO KING' and Hulk Hogan and Hot Rod, Rowdy Roddy Piper, etc...WHERE did the time go?!?!?!

Bobby Heenan is one of my all time favorites. I just finished watching his WWE video on Netflix, completely enjoyable. Wrestling was so much better in the 80's. Heenan was such a huge part of that.

The absolute funniest man ever........I watched wrestling mainly to watch he and NIck Bocwinkel's interviews. And what an acrobatic performer! God Bless Bobby Heenan!

@elc1960 Thanks! Glad to hear! I was watching him and Jim Cornette talking and it's like night and day. There is SOME 'brain' in there, but Bobby's a lot more laid back. And he just about had Cornette on the floor at one point, laughing about the comparisons between getting a job with the same 'lack of benefits' pro-wrestling has. No hospital insurance. No paid vacations. No weekends off? No guaranteed salary? Heck, yeah. Sign me up for that job! Ha, ha.

@MrsWLeach Well, he's talked all along, except for the period when his jaw was being worked on. His voice sounds somewhat thinner than it used to, but he talks. He's appeared in a lot of the WWE home videos over the past few years, although the word "humanoid" doesn't appear in any of those comments. Not sure if he's appeared at the WWE's pre-Wrestlemania fan-fests. If he's able to, I would bet any money that he'd be at this year's event

@elc1960 Does this mean that Bobby's talking now? Not sure if his wife wants it, but the rest of us wanna be called 'HUMANOIDS' again.

There are 4 wrestlers I would like to meet in my life: Bruno Sammartino, Mick Foley, George Steele, and last (but far from least), Bobby Heenan. What an amazing story his first book was, and I want to read the second one also. This DVD is one I have to get. Most of the rumors about his health were just rumors and no more - except for dealing with his hip and his leg, he's apparently OK at the moment. He beat cancer, and it appears his jaw has healed as well. Much love to all the Heenans!
Hang in there Bobby, we love ya!
