TONY AND RICKY YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!

@darrenintahoe Tony suffers from a form of dysphonia, which is a neurological condition that affects the way the vocal chords work. Other prominent folks who have dealt with dysphonia are NPR program host Diane Rheem and noted British folk-rock icon Linda Thompson. Booze and cigarettes could easily have been contributing factors, but dysphonia can occur in non-drinkers and non-smokers as well, so Tony's often frowned-upon habits could easily have nothing to do with the loss of his voice.

damn if these boys dont have heart n soul pouring out of em!

Ricky Skaggs, the pride of eastern KY has taken the torch from Bill Monroe and carried it into our time. He is a national treasure and continues to teach us all about our rich mountain music heritage. Tony Rice and Ricky are masters, and their easy style hides some pretty complex and creative work.
