Ricky Skaggs, the pride of eastern KY has taken the torch from Bill Monroe and carried it into our time. He is a national treasure and continues to teach us all about our rich mountain music heritage. Tony Rice and Ricky are masters, and their easy style hides some pretty complex and creative work.

Two of the all-time greats of bluegrass. Hard to guess the venue. The tune and Tony's suit suggests it could be a Sunday morning at a festival. But inside with a spotlight?

@MandoAficionado That did an album back in 1980 called "DUETS" I believe...a tribute to The Monroe Brothers, Blue Sky Boys, etc..

Beautiful! There will never be another Ralph Stanley, but Ricky Skaggs is a worthy successor as the premier bluegrass singer.
