Girl with a Snake at the Floating Village in Cambodia

These two girls let us take pictures of them, with the expectation that we'd give them a dollar. Ellen said not to give them money.

I had already taken this video of them, with the intention of sharing it on Facebook. I realized that would be exploiting them, and I felt bad. Also, I saw other tourists giving the girl on the left money, but not to the girl on the right.

I saw her getting upset, like she was about to cry. Tourists were taking pictures of her, exploiting her cuteness, and not giving her any money. I didn't want to be guilty of that, so I gave her 100 reals. Later on, I found out it was worth 2 cents. No wonder she didn't look grateful when I gave it to her.
