The Piper PA-18 Super Cub is a two-seat, single-engine monoplane first introduced in 1949 by Piper Aircraft. With its distinctive high-wing design and yellow trim scheme, the Piper Cub is one of the most recognizable airplanes in the world. In close to 40 years of production, over 9,000 were built.
Having flown a larger RC Cub, I found myself quite interested in this Super Cub. To me the molded wing ribs and shock absorbing landing gear were some of the features that really stood out. Add to that the fact that it is receiver-ready and the old saying that everyone should own a Cub sounded pretty good.

@JPSwissCheese For future reference- The 2 flashinng lights on the charger means "Error" - this is because LIPO batteries if discharged below the minimum level will no longer recharge. Now you have to buy new ones.
Does anyone kmow Nicad batteries that would work instead? I don't care about power- just want to get it off the ground!

mine is junk. It was okay first 2 flights but it was extremely slow it barely got in the air with stock everything and when a breeze blew it caught the breeze and stopped.Then the battery stopped charging. ( It would charge for hours and hours and still be charging).

I have that moddle i fly's fine but the charger wont work?
i got it about 2 days ago
both lights on the charger are flashing, ive tryed every thing
any one know what up?

I love mine but im having a balance issue, which is odd for an rxr. 14g is way to much, 7g is not quite enough and with no wieght it doesnt respond well. did you have to add tail wieght?
