Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean says the future doesn't belong to the Tea Party. He says the Republican Tea Party is rolling us back to the 50s. The 1850s. He calls the Tea Party a desperate minority that is growing more desperate as they shrink. Dean says the hate and anger of the Tea Party will never win.
We're all a little socialist that doesn't make us all Stalins though.

@tomananda44 Just got back from my super-double-secret Tea Party meeting. It lasted for over 3 hours. Unfortunately we didn't get anything done in the meeting because we spent all 3 hours counting the money that we were given by some super-double-secret anonymous huge corporation. Maybe at the next meeting we can discuss how we can destroy the middle class so we can take over the country and make veryone our slaves.

how's that "hope and change" working out for you, Howie? oh yeh, that's right...unsustainable 14 billion dollar deficit, >9% unemployment, pathetic business growth and continued collapse if the housing market! We need a real change and it doen't include far left, socialist idealogues who want to keep spendind, penaluze tho

How sad these comments are coming from the corporate-funded tea party crowd which seeks to destroy the middle class in this country. The Koch brothers have poured millions of dollars into the campaigns of right wing governors all over the US in an attempt to maximize their profits. Without the Koch brothers and their front groups such as "Americans for Prosperity" there wouldn't be much of a tea party.

@ExaggeratedElegy He's a socialist, that speaks for its self. Your hero Stalin called Dean's kind useful idiots, and I'm sure you fit the mold as well.

Way to use sweeping generalities to describe a catch all name for groups of people made up of 10s of thousands. From what ive seen, there is aspects of hate and anger in every political group. Further, anger is not a completely negative emotion. We should be mad as hell about whats going on, and if we use that anger as but one tool to inspire us to action without letting it turn to violence, it can be very constructive.

Moron who seems to know a great deal more about the history and philosophies upon which the U.S.A was founded than any Tea-Party neanderthal.
