@ baji1, i practice rudiments starting with both hands, the idea is to make both hands strong enough to interchange between, this comes in very handy when doing rolls or drum fills as it's not always efficient or quick enough to play with your lead hand, and you need to play an open stance with your weaker hand

The thing I love about all these rudiments is that if you're good with the double stroke roll you're more than halfway there for the most part :D

should you practice this starting with the other hand also? there are other ones here also that just start on one side, or shall I do all of them starting with both hands?
