@powskier: The nice thing about cats is that they punch through as long as you can keep them square... We use a 14 foot cat as our safety boat for my outfit because they make it through the big water better than a raft. For single or double applications, cats are awesome and will outperform rafts (at least in my personal experience), but having a good paddle crew in a 16' maravia is unbeatable.

Catarafts are such hole bait. I don't know why people spend all that money on those things. That one guy, though, almost pulled off a loop if hadn't of fallen out.
