im getting some lag and im wondering if its because im running out of VRAM. I had 1021mb used out of 1024mb....so theoretically im not running out Vram cuz i still have 3mb left but is the lag still caused by this? cuz im pretty darn close to the limit

There's a way to switch AA on without having shaders on "high". Simply edit the configs OR, more specifically, edit or type in the console "r_renderer = 2". While the renderer command doesn't show any noticeable FPS decrease or quality standard without editing the other "q_shader" lines, it sets the game to "high" rendering to initialize other features only available in that rendereing path, much like r_renderer = 3 enables utilization of r_colorgrading.
