Invisalign braces work by having the patient wear a clear plastic retainer that has been molded to fit the patient's mouth and will change the position of the teeth over a period of time. Change out Invisalign retainers every two to three weeks with advice from a general dentist in this free video on dentistry and braces.

  • do we need to extract any teeth before we put the invisalign on?

  • Hello, Please read my reply on this subject below.

  • Hello, YES they do, as my teeth were really really crooked and overcrowded. I did have to have teeth removed on either side of both my upper and lower jaw (4 teeth in total). This was to make room for the other teeth to move around. I had an overbite on my upper jaw, and a receeding chin too. Now my face is 'balanced' and far more attractive. It is almost like having free cosmetic surgery as a bonus, to have my now PERFECT smile. I am so pleased with my results at the end of almost 2 years.

  • do they work on really crooked teath?

  • I am a 52 years old and am wearing my Invisalign braces. I assure you they work, even for much older patients. It is the best thing I have ever done, as when I was young, kids did not wear braces in England where I live.

  • Does invisilign actually work?
