how come when you film cars starting up u generally stand behind? and 2nd? do you ask their permission if you can film it startup?

I stand behind because the exhaust is behind, and you can listen better the sound of the car. NO, i don't ask the permission, i've never had an owner who asked me to not film his car, if they ask me not to do it, i don't do it.
