I still have some problems to solve to make my calibrated volume titer plates watertight, so I put a challenge to the Ultimaker community. Anyone who can help me get watertight prints will get a bottle of wine made here at UC Davis (or a UCD hoodie, if preferred).

  • How about a quick acetone bath, to seal any small gaps?

  • @PatrikDh I tried that, actually. It doesn't seem to do what you'd think it would do. It just made everything crispy and flaky, and made the plate curl up.

  • Are you still having trouble with that? I'm having an UM soon again - so I could look into it ;)
