Check out my blog at http://spinningblades.blogspot.com - Using a 150ma battery for this flight with the Blade MCX2 helicopter set up with the carbon fiber tail boom (my preference). I started this flight with a fresh battery and flew until the battery faded. Recorded it from start to finish. About 7 minutes and 40 seconds of flight time. Towards the end of the video you will see it lose power and crash. It survived just fine as it always does. I love this heli. Read more about it on my blog at http://spinningblades.blogspot.com

  • Hey nice video. What do you do with the LED wire and other wires in the stock tail section when installing the tail boom? Thanks.

  • Hi.

May you help me. I bought the same heli and put Carbon Fiber Tail Boom for BMCX2 and my heli make a lot of vibration. I know there is a weigh try to move to any position, didn't help. removed the weigh same result . Any help please ?

    Thanks.

  • @mariolunadelrisco Start with this one, easy to fly. Get some upgrades and larger batts later. Good purchase.

  • Looking for a larger MAH battery for the MCX2, Is there anything that is closer to 200 MAH? If so, who and where sells it?

  • ive had a few hard landings with this little guy, it holds up really well! ive mainly flown planes, ( if you want to consider the air hog p.o.s's as heli's, ive done those too), but this is my 1st true copter. great flyer and well worth the money, i should of bought one sooner. any answers would be great appreciated.

  • got a question for you, i bought a mcx2 and flew it for about a week, decied to buy the tailboom and rudder, got one hell of a shake out of the entire heli. i noticed on yours looks like you extended yours out another 1-1/2" or better, does that help the shake or what do i need to do? also, my swashplate seperated from the bearing earlier, but pressed back in. should i buy a new swash plate?

  • I want to join the club... I would like to buy one of this. However, as I am a beginner, do you think is a good point to start? or should I start with another model? Which model would you recommend me?
