Pero las generaciones actuales no parecen conocer bien la historia,y la historia del rock no se cuenta muy bien,existe un desarrollo estilitico fundamentado en la tecnica de esta banda y actualmente grupos como Dream Theater fortalecen este nuevo estilo,pues no bastaba con intentar sonar sinfonico,habia que desarrollar el esquema de cada instrumento,lo que vemos en Fragile..Eso fue un logro de Yes.

Ningun musico que se tenga aprecio podria menospreciar a Jon ni a su banda,por lo general los musicos respetan mucho esto o lo siguen..Yes es en efecto la gran escuela de la musica desde mediados de los 70,son los detallistas,los grandes arreglistas e interpretes de la historia,ellos elevaron un Standard para todo e impusieron una forma de trabajar un disco,con mayor musicalidad,imponiendo el rigor tecnico en los trabajos conceptuales,algo totalmente nuevo..

En efecto es demasiado influyente,en la forma de armar una linea melodica influyo mucho..mas halla de su voz..La mayoria de los musicos de otras bandas,musicos de sesion,musicos latinos,etc..escucharon a la banda y se dejaron influenciar por todas sus caracteristicas..Hasta las bandas de jazz fusion.Pero lamentablemente vemos como se puede deformar la historia por no mantener un regimen de video clips.

You guys have way too much time on your hands to argue about this really nice guy. Until you meet and speak to him about his life and what he is (and has) gone through, you have to observe some respect for the man himself...he really is a cool guy, especially in person. Sadly, you can see the age catching up with him in his eyes. It is probably good for him to take some personal time for himself and his family. We don't live forever but he will if only with the legacy of his music and character.
