  • these panthers are all post kursk , you can tell that they all have the newer style commanders cupola so this makes them A or G model panthers , the D model rushed into service at kursk had a cupola similar in appearance to the early model tiger 1

  • awsome footage!!! 5/5

  • has anyone noticed that modern tanks a sort of square shaped. M1 abrams T90 why dont they use sloped armour plate anymore its weird. commonsense tells you to slope your armour. i guess on the other hand rpg technology has come a long way doesnt matter what angle plate you have. but it would deflect small shells.

  • wow looks similar to soviet T34. but highly upgraded

  • Indeed this isn't Kursk. The Panther tanks are model A. This model was build from august 1943 - june 1944.

  • i dont think i is kursk. look at the mud on the road im surprised the panther didnt get boged, kursk offensive was launched during the summer so that first few seconds of the vid could be anywhere

  • too bad they were rushed into service before the teething troubles could be corrected

  • yes this was hours before kursk

  • I wish! Panther first used on July 1943 Kursk Offensive. First one made by mfg MAN turned out on Nov 1942.

  • this was before Kursk. i think
