Car has been off the road for about 15 years and I saved it from the junkyard. my 59 chevy, it's a project car. only 20,760 two door station wagons were made in 59 probably less then half are still on the road. small block 1981 chevy engine- TH400 trans- 72 pontiac rear end. hope to be done but next year "praying to finish". I known some of the stuff on the car doesn't match so work with me here.

This car has been off the road since 1995 that's what the last owner said. it was a rust bucket but after 10 years of slow body work around it. So other than that I took it off his hands and hope to restore it.

the rare part; in 1959 GM made over 1.4 million chevrolets not including pick ups, over 180,000 2-door impala, over 70,000 impala convertibles, close to 25,000 el camino, and the lowers productive car made in 59 the 2-door station wagon/delivery wagons only 20,760 made. If all of the chevys made in 59 were lined up today, you would have to see 100 before u see a two door wagon

  • so this is not a impala right?

  • @jaa1282 Their was no impala wagons made in 59. Only brookwood (2 or 4 door Biscayne trim), parkwood 6 passenger (4 door bel air trim), kingswood 9 passenger (4 door bel air trim) and nomad (4 door impala trim)

  • id say its worth 2-4 grand depending on the buyer

  • @crzycars yea but once fixed up over 20K depending on the restoration. I traded a 76 camaro for it valued at about 2,400.

  • @chevycamaro1976 The 76 Camaro depending on Motor size and overall condition would be worth 15 to 20 k here in Australia

  • looks like you made out pretty good. 76 camaro's are not hard to find and nowhere near as desirable as this 59 wagon.

  • If you ever want to sell this car, please contact me via youtube.

    thanks

  • I'd go for a stovebolt + manual

  • @chevycamaro1976 hey id definatly buy it for 4 grand in this shape awesome car man

  • nice!!! i like the wagon better than the car.and it has to be 4 door.good buy.!

  • Nice car. Never saw one before. Thanks...

  • @65arc I have decent tailgates on my El Camino and the Brookwood parts wagon. I will probably keep the better of the two. The Brookwood's gate is stuck shut, and i have'nt got around to opening it for closer inspection. I'm sure i can help you with the headlight buckets. I am around the Dfw Texas area Where are you located? I have lots of other parts, the wagon is complete, but kinda rough. I bought it for the perfect grille it had.

  • My Grandpa has a 59 Biscayne. Light Green. We just got it painted!

  • @jerywilliams Hi Jerry ,I have a 2dr wagon and need a tail gate and head light buckets,do u have.thanks
