Put some real wood in there like some tulip or oak and see which splits first the wood or the machine.

Hydraulische holzspalter sind der größtescheis. zwar kraft aber viel zu langsam. außerdem versuch mal mit dem eine ganz krum gewachsenen baum zu spalten ...... das schafft der nicht.

Only for the second log of this video i had to take the 9tons with lower speed (7cm/s - 9t) for a short time. All others I split with the higher speed. (17.1cm/s - 3.7 t). You see, the logs could be much bigger than this one.
