Roland SP-555 D-beam Synth Test

Please go easy on me, this is my first dbeam test on the roland sp-555. My first thought on it is that once you know what it sounds like, it would be fairly easy to spot the sound in any recording or crowd. But you can get original with it by adding a series of effects to it. Goes wonderful with the Korg KP3 and variouse other filters!

@mixcatcom Thanks, I look forward to this Saturday on Blogtv/dcs1771 I am getting better with the SP-555 and started using it along side the Korg r3. Great combo! I need so much more practice though.

@dcs1771 Glad to hear you like the SP-555/R3 combo. I was looking to expand my sampling capabilities beyond what the KP3 and Kaossilator PRO can do with the R3 and planned to get an SP-404SX. But, I found a deal on the SP-555 for just a few $ more so I grabbed it instead. He warned me about the Compact Flash issues, so I hope I don't live to regret the purchase. Your CF info video has pointed me in the right direction for getting some compatible CF cards, so fingers crossed.
