I'm an Orthodox Jew & I've seen this film. It opened my eyes to the suffering of these people - many of them would happily chop off their leg if it mean that they could stop being gay. But they can't. I don't know what the answer is - halacha is what it is (I'm sorry, but I just don't buy Rabbi Greenberg's reinterpretation of the passuk). At the same time, they are part of am yisrael & deserve compassion & love - they shouldn't be pushed out of orthodox judaism.

oh... that's intelligent input, matthew :/. it's a brave thing that they're standing up for their rights that not a lot of straight people ever had to do just because of their sexuality.
