I thought it was flat and slow, but that's just me. I'm not sure how long they can play on two-year-old news events but what do I know? Maybe it will pleasantly surprise me.

I thought the first episode of the newsroom was brilliant but the second episode was kind of a letdown. I think they went too deep and too fast into forming relationships that it came off like a soap opera. The never ending fast dialogue really took out from the scenes where real tension was forming, and for an episode talking about content control, there was a lot of useless content in the dialogue. The email mishap in the episode I saw coming miles ahead when they started off the show with it.
